Honestly, no. For those of you that "think" they are the exception and can, we are here to tell you again, no. Please don't ask. Don't make it awkward. You see right here (twice) the answer is no. Hire a sitter, drop them off at your parents or in-laws, and enjoy an adult night out. No one, absolutely NO ONE has ever enjoyed bringing their child to a wedding. If you are not comfortable leaving your kids for the night, we will miss you. The answer is still no.
A little embarrassing that you would even ask that... yes, there is.
ah, COVID. Everyone's favorite topic. If you are unvaccinated, we are asking that you get a COVID test prior to attending our wedding. We have a number of high risk family members (including one of our children) and it is very important to us that we take as many precautions as necessary to protect their health as much as we can. Thank you!!!
Currently, there is no mask mandate in place in Jefferson Parish (For my out of towners, "parish" is another word for the county). Our wedding ceremony is taking place outside (where masks are not required). Weather permitting, our reception will take place under a tent with the walls "rolled up". If you feel more comfortable in a mask, you are welcome to wear one.
Yes, check out our Travel & Accommodations page for all the information you need.
Not unless you want one. We will have a shuttle the day of the wedding and Uber and Lyft are both available in New Orleans.
New Orleans
If your invitation says "and Guest," then yes, if not, we prefer it was just you. We are not having a large wedding so each of you was picked because you play a special role in our lives.
Cocktail, please. But if your feet hurt or your tie feels too tight... you can take those off on the dance floor.
Yes! Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are all on the Stella Plantation grounds.
Yes! There is plenty of parking at Stella if you prefer to bring your own vehicle so that you can come and go as you please.
GREAT question. It's anyone's guess really. Our ceremony is outside, so you may way to bring a jacket in case it is on the cooler side. However, it will probably be really warm here still.
