North Ferry (Greenport → Shelter Island) The North Ferry is a drive-on ferry that departs from Greenport every 10–20 minutes. The ferry ride to Shelter Island takes about 10 minutes. No reservation necessary. Cost: $16 one way for a car and driver, or $3 for foot passengers Payment: Cash only Important: The last North Ferry leaving Shelter Island departs at 12:45 AM, so please plan accordingly.

South Ferry (Sag Harbor → Shelter Island) The South Ferry is a drive-on ferry that departs from Sag Harbor every 10–15 minutes. The ferry ride to Shelter Island takes about 10 minutes. No reservation necessary. Cost: $18 one way for a car and driver, or $2 for foot passengers Payment: Cash only Important: The last South Ferry leaving Shelter Island departs at 1:45 AM, so please plan accordingly.
