We met online, during a pandemic. Despite the masks and 100 miles of highway between us, we knew this was something special. We also knew we would have to be creative and committed to dating in a quarantined world. We spent our days working remotely, together, and nights in the kitchen sharing our love for cooking.
In the summer of 2021 we knew we wanted to put a ring on it and picked out the engagement ring together during a trip to NYC. Matt proposed a couple months later while we were cooking dinner at home in Winston-Salem. Clams & linguini will always remind us of the night we said yes to this next adventure.
