Your formal invite will include a QR code that will lead you to our RSVP page. We kindly ask you to respond as soon as you are certain whether you can attend or not so we can plan accordingly. RSVPs are due by April 19th due to our vendors needing a final guest count. If you do not RSVP by the deadline, we will assume you are unable to attend.
Your presence will be missed, but we will not be offended if you cannot make it. As soon as you know you cannot attend, please RSVP ‘decline’ on our wedding website so we can plan accordingly. We plan to live stream our ceremony, so if you cannot make it and want to celebrate from home, please reach out to us so we can add you to the digital attendance list. More details will come later.
The ceremony time will be given on your formal invite, by this time we ask that all guests have arrived and are ready in their seats. Please feel free to arrive up to a half an hour early to give you time to park, get situated, sign the guestbook, and grab a welcome drink.
Semi Formal - Smart Casual The dress code is semi formal or smart casual attire. Due to the ceremony taking place outside we understand if guests would like to dress a little more comfortable, but if you feel like dressing up, please do! Ideas for men: sport coats, button ups, dress pants, or even just a nice shirt and jeans. Ideas for women: dresses, skirts with dressy tops, or just a nice top with jeans or trousers. The weather varies at Cabin Creek Lodge, so we suggest bringing a coat or two. The ceremony will take place outdoors so please take this into consideration when picking footwear. As for colors, the wedding party will be wearing shades of greens, purples, and neutrals. You are more than welcome to join in, or wear whatever colors feels best, all we ask is to avoid white or mostly white dresses and skirts.
Yes, kids are allowed at the wedding and should be listed on your invite. We both remember how fun weddings were as kids and would love for your little ones to experience ours. We will have kid friendly activities and designated areas for the kids to play. That being said, if you would like to treat this as a date night and leave the kids at home, please do! Childcare will not be provided, so please keep an eye on your little ones. If you plan on bringing your kids, please indicate that in the RVSP and list their age so we can plan accordingly for catering and activities.
Your invite will be made out to “(Your Name) & Guest.” if a plus one has been given to you. Otherwise we can only accommodate those specifically invited.
Pets are allowed on the property but cannot go inside the lodge at any point due to our venue contract. If you do bring a furry friend, please make sure they are leashed and under your control when outside on the property. If you are not attending to your pet, they either need to be safe in your vehicle or left at your off-site lodging. If you plan to bring a pet let us know.
Yes, we are registered through Amazon and Honeyfund. If you would like to contribute to our honeymoon fund (via Honeyfund) or purchase a gift from our registry we would greatly appreciate it. To find links to these see the "Registry" tab on this website.
The entire first floor of the venue is wheelchair accessible and step-free. The second floor is not wheelchair accessible, however it will only be used for kids' activities and extra lodging. Accessible parking and bathrooms are also available. The ceremony will take place outdoors, but the grounds are flat.
There is parking for over 50 vehicles at Cabin Creek Lodge.
We will be serving a buffet style dinner. Cocktail hour will feature a light snack, and desserts will be available shortly after dinner. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know when you RSVP.
Absolutely! We will be serving signature cocktails, beer, wine, and more. Our signature cocktails will have the option to be made into a ‘mocktail’ so our sober friends can join in the fun. We will also have other non-alcoholic beverages available. Due to our venue contract, outside alcohol is absolutely prohibited.
Due to the remoteness of Cabin Creek Lodge, most of our guests will have to book nearby lodging or expect a long drive home, so we hope you plan accordingly. However, if you are unable to drive yourself home, or cannot acquire a designated driver, we can make alternative arrangements to ensure your safety. Cabin Creek Lodge does have some space for overnight guests, however after we hit the lodging capacity we will accrue a $30 fee per overnight guest.
Smoking is allowed outdoors, though we ask guests to only smoke in the designated smoking area or in their vehicles. Use of ash trays is mandatory due to the natural setting of the venue. Smoking or vaping is prohibited in any indoor areas of the venue.
The current plan is for the ceremony to take place outdoors, with the reception indoors and on the patio. The patio will have heat lamps for the evening, and there is a fire pit that will be in use (fire advisory permitting). Cabin Creek Lodge is located just east of Snoqualmie pass, thus it's a little hard to predict the weather. Typically, the area will receive average highs of 73°f and lows of 51°f, but we will adjust our plan based on the weather. If it is warmer, we may have more of the day take place outdoors -- if the day will likely be cold and rainy we will adjust accordingly. Check back later for updates (:
