Finally!

Our story begins in 2016 at Texas Roadhouse, right before the kitchen was about to close! We talked for what seemed like hours and eventually headed home to Black Forest for the night. Seth would wake up every morning and travel across state lines to work, and he would drive back to my home, the same night. Although our relationship was long distance, we never gave up the time needed to grow together. After about a year into our relationship we decided to move in together. Things were challenging, but in the moment of making memories, we had so much fun. We grew together and built a steady foundation that lead us to where we are today. We’ve had every obstacle thrown at us, from financial struggles, and job loss, to having our first baby and learning to be parents together. The road has been everything but easy, but we have stood by each other through every storm and rain cloud and always found the silver lining. When Seth finally found the perfect time to purpose, he didn’t miss a beat! On December 28th, 2021 he decided to take me on the best date! We went to the electric safari, (which is my all time favorite place in the world!) we walked around, rode the sky ride up to the top of the mountain and walked through thousands of Christmas lights, we made our way to the edge of the mountain top and looked out over the city, and to my surprise, he dropped to one knee and asked me to be his wife. After being happily in love for over 5 years, we are beyond ecstatic to announce that we will officially be husband and wife in the coming year.
