We met junior year of college through mutual friends and God's goodness led us to a relationship. We discovered later that there were multiple times we were in the same apartment, at the same time, but just in different rooms - just barely missing each other. We believe we met at just the right time. Our relationship began a few weeks before we both left Waco to study abroad in different places for 6 months. Seth went to Dublin, Ireland, and Lauren went to Maastricht, Netherlands. This was such a fun time in our relationship because we would travel with our friends and meet up in the coolest places like England, France, and the Netherlands. When we got back, our relationship remained long distance until our senior year of college. This year of college was filled with friends, Baylor traditions, and getting to date in the same city - yay! Long distance started again when Seth moved to Houston to start a new job, and Lauren remained in Waco to earn her Masters degree. This time in our relationship brought many challenges as we were both busy and long distance meant extra effort to make the other person a priority. Our relationship grew so strong in this time and prepared us for marriage. Thankfully, the season of long distance ended in May of 2021, and we are both working in Houston- yay! We are so thankful for our time together and God's faithfulness and provision in our relationship. We are so excited to celebrate the covenant we are making with all of you.
