We met in college at Southeast Missouri State University and collided through being involved in Greek life. We dated, recklessly, for about a year and a half before God opened up our eyes and our ears to the good news of His gospel, and His son, our savior, Jesus Christ. It was our second year at SEMO where it was revealed to us how sinful we (and all people) really are and that our sin was what separated us from God. Through seeking God in His Word, the Holy Bible, we both realized that a relationship with God was necessary for salvation. You cannot claim to know God if you don't have a relationship with Him and you just have religion. Seth repented of his sins and placed his faith in Christ alone for salvation for the very first time on December 4th, 2018, Kelsey the same on December 28th, 2018, and God was faithful to save us and keep both of us since then. Since then, God has transformed our hearts and our lives, and we desire to glorify Jesus Christ in everything we do whether in word or deed (Colossians 3:17, 1 Corinthians 10:31). This especially includes our marriage to come. We are a testament to the Lord's goodness and graciousness to His beloved, and we hope and pray that you can see that in our engagement and eventually our marriage. Our goal in our marriage and in our lives is that you would see Christ in us, and you would want to have a relationship with Him too. We can't wait to celebrate our soon-to-be covenant of marriage with you that reflects our covenant with God!
