How we met

We met in Texas through a climbing group — just two people who loved being outdoors and always down for a good adventure. Seth was the calm, collected Air Force guy who would show up to the gym in his motorcycle or 1997 land cruiser. Kayla was the Army mother-baby nurse who swore she already knew him (spoiler: she didn’t). We started off as friends, spotting each other on the wall, trading jokes, and spending time together in the same friend group. Somewhere along the way, Seth asked Kayla out for coffee and then she asked him for a ride on his motorcycle. We started dating in December of 2020. Not long after, Seth deployed, and Kayla started studying to become a public health nurse. We made it through the distance with calls, letters, and patience. When Seth came home, things just clicked. We built a little life together — long walks with our dogs, Molly and Max, weekend climbing trips, and afternoons spent at the climbing gym. (Also, a fun fact: Seth somehow forgot that Kayla had asked him to officially be her boyfriend. He’s still trying to live that one down.) A year later, Seth moved to Great Falls, Montana for a new Air Force job, and Kayla headed to West Point, New York a bit after in the summer of 2024. After another stretch of long distance, Seth joined her in April 2025. We are continuously amazed by each day we get to spend together and how much our love grows everyday. We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you! What Kayla wants you to know: On our wedding day, join us to celebrate our marriage, the joining of two families, and excitement for what the future holds. Come ready to have a great time and also to experience the joy of the little moments that occur when all our favorite people are gathered together. We love and cherish each of you, so please, don't hesitate to reach out if you need assistance with finding or affording flights or hotels.

Our dogs

We have two wonderful dogs, Molly and Max. Molly is a 11 year old Great Pyrenees and loves cold weather, guarding the house, and never ending cuddling. Molly also loves car rides, walks, and hardwood floors. Max is our 5 year old Great Pyr mix, he is our buddy, a gentle happy kid who will gladly love anyone who needs him. He loves cheese, going hiking, and running on his trails. Our dogs mean the world to us, they never cease to bring life, excitement, or mud to our lives.
