Wedding Party

Brooke Smith

Maid of Honor

Brooke and I met in college, where fate and brought us together in freshman English. She sat in front of me, and one day, as I gently tried to move her near waist-length, hair off my desk and severely miscalculated pulling the heck out of her hair, our friendship hilariously, began. Since then, we’ve traveled coast to coast—Redding, Chicago, Austin, Myrtle Beach (in a fully decked-out cop car, no less)—collecting memories and laughter in every corner of the country. Brooke has been my steady, constant presence through every season of life. She’s cheered me on through heartbreak and healing, always with wisdom, honesty, and a whole lot of love. When I first met Seth, it was Brooke who gave me that knowing look, a playful wink, and said what my heart hadn’t quite realized yet, this one was different. She’s stood by me through my teens, twenties, and now into my thirties. And today, it means the world to have her beside me again, this time as my Maid of Honor. She is a sister from another mister, my confidante, my forever friend—and I’m endlessly grateful for her.

Sheridan Smith

Bridesmaid

Sheridan and I met through her husband Haden who I became friends with in 2019. Sheridan and I have had such a beautiful slow but steady growth in friendship since our introduction and with time she has become one of my closest confidants, my friend who I know will ALWAYS tell me the truth. She celebrates my wins as if they are her own and supports me and loves me and has become such an integral part of my life I can't imagine it without her. We lovingly call her and her husband Haden our "couple best friends."

Victoria Broussard

Bridesmaid

Victoria and I have a hilarious start to our relationship, I accosted her in a coffee shop because she was reading a book I had previously tried to read and hated and so I went up to her and kicked off the convo with "so are you hating that book too?" We quickly exchanged instagram accounts and within a few months entered into our "I am so obsessed with you" kind of era and have never left. We share a love of reading and our partners lovingly call each other "husbands" so I can confidently say, the four of us became quick friends. Victoria has such an infectious personality full of joy and also "call you on your bull" kinda vibe that I seriously wonder how the heck I made it this far in life without her.

Katie Roberts

Bridesmaid

Katie is someone I had an INSTA connection with. Back in 2014 I was setting up appointments to interview possible new roommates. In walks Katie and it was truly love at first sight (and not just for me but her now husband as well). She moved in shortly after and since then we have maintained a solid friendship surrounded by our love of reading as of late. Katie has credit of introducing me to my favorite book series of ALL TIME for which I will forever be grateful. Another thing to note about Katie, she is a "you need me and I am there" kind of girl. I never have to give context. If I need her, I never have to wonder if she will show up for me, she always has and I know she always will because thats who she is at her core and its what I truly love about her.

Casey Rodgers

Bridesmaid

Casey and I became friends early in our college careers at NGU. We have enjoyed the growth of our friendship through book reading nights, fancy dinners for no good reason, even at one point moving to coworkers too! Casey's sweet heart and giving nature makes her presence in anyones life a joy. She always has a way of making me feel important and special even when I don't feel like it. She indulges my in my love for Taylor Swift and for that, I will be forever grateful.
