Seth and Jamie decided, in their single days, that they would try out a new dating app called “Tinder” in an attempt to meet their forever person, and it worked! Seth’s profile stated that he wore Levi’s and boots and she was sold! Jamie’s profile stated that she was outgoing, sassy, and enjoyed the outdoors, and Seth was smitten! They had their first date (on June 1, 2015!) at Big Al’s (Jamie’s choice, the Dodgers were playing and she wanted something to watch on TV in case Seth was boring!), and couldn’t help but talk and laugh until it was closing time! Jamie paid for the bill when Seth got up to use the restroom and he was floored! But it promised a second date! Seth and Jamie have been on their second date ever since :)

Jamie plans EVERYTHING, so the fact that Seth was able to surprise her with a ring, wins all! Seth’s childhood best friends, Matt and Joy, had spent the summer on San Juan Island, and Jamie and Seth went up to visit them one weekend. Matt, Seth, & Jamie explored the island that Saturday, EXCEPT for the lighthouse, which was being kept for after dinner when the sun went down. They got to the lighthouse after having a remarkably delicious dinner, and started taking pictures with one another, with the sun setting by the lighthouse behind them. All of the sudden, Seth was on his knee proposing while Matt and Joy were taking pictures in the background. Jamie said, “Of Course!” And threw her hand at him for the ring! Champagne was popped and drinks and congratulations were had!
