For those of you who don’t know, we made the decision to get married early on March 24th, 2020 in the presence of our immediate families. Marriage has been wonderful and we are enjoying making our new house a home! We are continually grateful for the support we have received from all of you! The guest list has been reduced to conicide with state guidelines and we are continually making modifications to be as accomodating as possible! Both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors and we will have hand sanitizer and masks available for those that want them(or you can bring your own)! Parking is limited, so if you have family members or close friends who are also attending and are comfortable carpooling, please do so! We will have a shuttle service to assist you if the driveway becomes full. Also, if you are perpetually cold like Haley, feel free to bring a blanket, sweatshirt or whatever makes you comfortable in case you get cold! If you have any questions about what the ceremony and/or reception will be like, please please please don’t hesitate to reachout to us—we are more than happy to talk with you and answer any questions you may havez Feel free to visit our “FAQ” page as well! For those unable to attend, we will be live-streaming the ceremony via Facebook to allow you to still “see” us on our special day. All our love, Seth & Haley
We remember attending our mutual friend’s birthday party when we were about 11 yrs old. We were introduced and ended up sitting next to each other for cake, (we do have pictures to prove this). Little did we know, 13 years later, those little kids would become husband and wife. Soon after meeting, we became good friends and I (Haley) attended the same youth group where Seth’s dad was the youth pastor. We would often stay up late texting eachother when we got our first cell phones and hold hands at events when nobody was looking. Fast forward 17yr old us- we started talking and hanging out more. I remember talking to my mom around that time and I told her that if Seth White chose me out of all the other girls out there, I was going to marry him. Time went on; one visit a week turned into 3 visits a week and a couple months and a kiss later, we went on our first date! The rest is history. 4.5 years later on January 14, 2020, Seth asked me to marry him in my living room, in the midst of our beautiful, chaotic, dog-filled home where we spend most of our time together—and I said yes to doing this crazy life together forever. It is such a blessing to be with someone you’ve known your whole life. We were able to see each other’s best and worst- long before we started dating. In our past 5 years together, we have both pursued college, had multiple career changes, managed conflicting schedules, changed jobs, bought a house and so much more. Through it all, we’ve managed to stay smiling and laughing. Anyone who knows us knows we are constantly giggling—Seth never ceases to make me smile, even at my lowest points. We cannot wait to start this next chapter of life together as husband and wife. Both of us are so grateful for the amazing support system of friends and family that have seen our friendship grow to something more. This day was long awaited and we are so excited for what this season holds!
