Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes. Parking will be available for both the ceremony and reception. Signs will be displayed designating where to park. You will need make a short drive from the ceremony to the reception area. Please see the map above for parking reference.

Can we bring our children?

Answer

Although we love your children, due to the limited space in our venue, we cannot accommodate children under the age of 18 unless in the wedding party. Thank you for your understanding.

What is for dinner?

Answer

Old Carolina BBQ. Buffet Service Pulled pork, pulled chicken, baked beans. green beans, creamy coleslaw and cornbread w/ cinnamon butter Water, coffee, 50/50 sweet tea lemonade, various beers, wines, and spirits

What is considered formal attire?

Answer

For men, examples include a dark suit or slacks/khaki pants and button-up with a tie and dress shoes. We ask that you do not wear jeans but, if you have to we ask it is your cleanest, nicest pair of dark jeans with a button-up. Please no baseball caps. For women, examples include floor-length gowns, elegant midi or tea-length dresses. Only requirement on color is no white.

Is the venue smoke friendly?

Answer

Hale Farm and Village is considered a historical site and does not allow smoking/vaping of any kind inside their buildings. There will be a designated area outside the reception hall for smoking/vaping.
