Every year, PCG has a summer church camp, which we attended for many years, but little did we know that this year would be different. We had known of each other since the Talent Expo, the previous March, but avoided eye contact when camp came around. We were secretly hoping the other would come say "Hi." Then it came time for intern work and Seth's dad gave him "the nudge." Seth made it clear that "there was no way this girl would even look at me, let alone LIKE me," but dear old dad was determined. He paired them up to work ALL activities together, in hopes that this would spark some interest (thanks, dad). Alia thought that Seth completely hated her because he refused to talk to her the entire time. Seth thought that she was only talking to him to be nice. They shared maybe 100 words (90 Alia's and 10 Seth's) throughout camp and later were in the same SnapChat group chat. Alia messaged Seth in regards to a "super cool Arizona ice tea" and they talked everyday after that. Seth and his family were then invited down to visit Alia in Monterey, where they hiked, filmed, played darts and made hotdogs together. And the rest is history!
