What is the dress code?

Answer

Beach/Tropical Attire. We want you to be comfortable at our wedding. The Ceremony and Cocktail Hour will be on the beach, and the Reception will be on the Pool Terrace. The dress code is dressy casual attire. May we suggest that men wear a light long or short-sleeved dress shirt with khaki or other lightweight slacks or shorts; jackets optional. We suggest ladies wear a sundress or dressy separates. Instead of heels, wear a pair of strappy or platform sandals. We will be on the beach so keep the sand in mind.

Can I bring my kids?

While our wedding is intended to be an adults-only event, we recognize that childcare arrangements might be complex. If you find it necessary to bring your children, we understand, and they are welcome. We just ask that you kindly inform us of their attendance as soon as possible through the RSVP on our website, so we can ensure ample seating and food for everyone at our wedding events. Your flexibility and understanding are greatly appreciated.

Can I bring a plus one?

Unfortunately, we have a restricted guest capacity through the resort. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes! We secured a hotel block at the Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa so we can celebrate together all weekend. Please visit the "Travel & Accommodations" section of our wedding website to find all information regarding the hotel block and to book your stay. We ask that all guests attending our wedding stay at the Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa, where all the wedding events are taking place. The hotel requires that a certain percentage of the wedding guests stay at the hotel where the wedding events are held. If staying at the Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa is not feasible for you, please let us know as soon as possible so we can assist with finding and booking alternative arrangements for you and so we can coordinate with our venue for you to attend the wedding events even though you won't be a guest at the hotel.

Absolutely! Please inform us of any dietary restrictions when you RSVP through our website.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 4417 Elm Street, Downers Grove, Illinois 60515. We also have a link to our cash funds registry on our wedding website. A wedding card box will be at our reception.
