Our story begins with two people taking big leaps in search of something more. In September 2021, I left behind the fast-paced life of New York and moved to Denver, Colorado, chasing fresh mountain air, adventure, and a better sense of balance. Little did I know, just a few months later, I’d meet the person who would completely change my life. Seth had made a similar leap years earlier, moving from Texas to Colorado with the same dream of building a better, more meaningful life surrounded by nature and new possibilities. He had already carved out a life here, but little did he know that soon, everything would get even better. We matched on Hinge and chatted for a few weeks, bonding over our love for the outdoors. After a few rounds of postponed plans and last-minute schedule changes, we finally met up for a casual lunch at Edgewater Marketplace. From the moment Seth laid eyes on my fur baby, Nala, I knew this was different. We ended our first date with a stroll around Sloan’s Lake and—after some nervous laughter—a delightfully awkward kiss in the parking lot that we’ll never forget. Our second date was one for the books: a snowy evening at Punch Bowl Social, filled with darts, pool, and lots of laughter. I may have wiped out in the snow walking back to my car, but honestly? In 2024, we bought our first home together and welcomed our greatest joy—our son, Rowan, who is the absolute light of our lives.
