Roo, Lyss and I met at the paint station in kindergarten and we’ve been the best of friends ever since. Some of our best memories are pulling pranks on her brothers, cheering at hundreds of hockey games, weekends at her cabin and many amazing concerts. I’ve never had a sweeter friend or one I’ve laughed more with.

Lyss has been a pal through it all and has always felt more like a sister. We spent summers on the lake and camping with our families, and winters spending every Saturday at swim meets or having sleepovers. Her house was a second home to me, her brothers were my brothers, and my dogs still liked her better than anyone in my family.

Closest cousin, fellow Taco Bell enthusiast, 55 mile death backpacking trip in Banff, go to person to talk Jesus and vent about the timberwolves.

Mal was my sports pal and always keeps things light and fun. Her family and ours had our fair share of camping trips. Now we’re living the dream of planning weddings at the same time and standing by one another on our big days just a couple weeks apart.

With the Hiner family being so awesome I worried I’d get stuck with the “weird in-laws” but this is SO not the case.
