Every week after Salt, me and one of my buddies would go talk to another friend of ours. That friend knew of Seterah and apparently thought we’d be a good match, so she told Seterah to come talk to me. Then on November 21st, 2024, right after Salt, I was standing there talking with my friend when the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen walked up to me. She came right over and said something to me, and we ended up talking for a few minutes. When she said she had to leave, I genuinely felt sad that the conversation was already over. The next day, I saw a picture of her on her friend’s Instagram and immediately followed her. She followed me back (huge W), and that following Sunday after church, I saw her again in Cedar Rapids and we officially started talking. Not long after, we hung out playing games at her apartment and ended up talking until midnight even though I had to be up at 4 a.m. for a workout. Totally worth it. We talked for two months, and on January 8th I asked her to be my girlfriend. Then on November 2nd, I asked her to marry me. God has been so faithful to us from the very beginning. He’s guided every step of our relationship, and our desire is to glorify Him through our marriage and continue growing closer to Him and to the purpose He has for us together. Mark 10:9
