As of February 2022, in order to fly home, you need proof of a negative COVID test regardless of vaccination status. The hotel offers tests! Ask for your COVID test at the hotel reception desk before 11 am. Once you get tested, you will receive your results in the next 24 hours. As of February 2022, you do not need to present a negative COVID-19 test or vaccination card upon arrival to enter the Dominican Republic. The airport may perform random COVID tests, but passengers who present a vaccination card or a negative PCR or antigen test taken within 72 hours prior to arrival in the Dominican Republic will be exempt from the random test. For entry to an establishment outside of the resort, you need proof of your vaccination OR a negative PCR test. If you are 18 and above, you need 3 doses of the vaccine.
