Question
When do I need to RSVP by?
Answer
We kindly ask that you RSVP by July 20th. If you do not RSVP by July 20th, you will be marked as "not attending". We would love celebrating with you, however, we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVPs. We will miss you on our big day!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?
Answer
We are hosting an "Unplugged" ceremony, no phones or cameras in use until the reception. The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do". We have hired a professional to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos/videos as you would like!

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Our ceremony will be held outdoors (Yes, in the hot August Iowa heat, sorry!) and reception will be in an indoor (with very good AC, yay!) area located just next to the ceremony location. If it rains, the ceremony will be moved indoors.

Will there be a bar?
Answer
Yes! Our venue offers a fully stocked bar. As a thank you for celebrating with us, we will be hosting select beer, seltzers, and wine for our guests. Once we reach our hosted bar limit, the bar will transition to a cash bar for the remainder of the evening.

Where should we stay?
Answer
Our venue is located in St. Charles, Iowa. For guests traveling from out of town, we recommend staying in West Des Moines, which offers the largest selection of hotels and amenities. Additional lodging can be found in Indianola and Winterset, though availability may be more limited. Most accommodations are about 17–25 minutes from the venue.

Is this a kid friendly wedding?
Answer
We love your little ones! However, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration, with the exception of a few select family members' children. If your child is invited, their name will be included with your name when you are RSVPing. We encourage you to take this opportunity for a well-deserved date night and enjoy an evening of celebration with us! Thank you for your understanding—we can't wait to celebrate together.

What is the dress code?
Answer
Our wedding attire is semi-formal. We kindly ask guests to avoid casual clothing, including jeans. Men are encouraged to wear dress pants and a long or short-sleeve button-up shirt and jackets or ties optional. Women are welcome to wear dresses, jumpsuits, or other dressy attire.

What time should I arrive?
Answer
Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm, so we kindly ask that you arrive 30 minutes early to assure you do not miss the ceremony. This will give you time to park and make your way to your seat to get the best view you can.

Can I bring a +1?
Answer
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those whose names are formally invited, and you will be able to select if they can attend or not on the RSVP page. Thank you for the understanding!
