Shannon and Will met in Schenectady, NY while Will was spending the summer there for an internship. What began as a few dates full of boat rides, ice cream shops, and a Niagara Falls trip turned into something much more, but at the end of the summer, Will returned to Ireland to finish his university studies. Determined to make it work, they spent his final year of school navigating long distance across the Atlantic. After graduating, Will accepted a job in Chicago, which meant another year apart, with Will in Chicago and Shannon still in Schenectady. Eventually, Shannon made the leap and moved to Chicago to be with him. They’ve been building their life there together for nearly two years now, and are so excited for what comes next.
