We are both graduates of the University of Houston. Edgar is a Sigma Chi and Jennifer is a Zeta Tau Alpha. Our paths first crossed around 2007 at a party at the Sigma Chi house. Throughout the years we would run into one another in midtown or at the occasional UH football game but weren't available to date each other. Finally, on March 10, 2016 we were both single and attending the same Luke Bryan concert at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Jennifer "checked-in" on Facebook at the concert and Edgar commented on her status to ask what section she was sitting in. Edgar left his suite seat to hang out with Jennifer and her friend, Lindsey, in the "standing room only" section. Afterwards, we went to the Hideout and danced the night away. After that day, we were pretty much inseparable. We became engaged on July 26, 2019 at the Houstonian Hotel. Edgar planned the most amazing proposal. After almost four and a half years of dating, we will be married on September 12, 2020 in Houston, Texas. We want to thank all of our amazing family and friends for their unending love and support throughout our relationship. We can't wait to celebrate our marriage with you all!
