We met in Milwaukee in January 2019. Hunter was working at his first PT job and Serra was working in corporate applying to medical school. One thing led to another and we both knew we had something special. Barely five months later, Serra somehow convinced Hunter to watch her cat (Lucy) for 5 weeks while she went abroad prior to moving to Madison to start her program. 2020 was a weird time, but it allowed us to spend quite a bit of time together back in Milwaukee (i.e. Serra squatted at Hunter's place). We moved into our first (official) apartment together in Madison in May 2021! Spring of 2023 brought many changes. Serra matched at the U of M for her surgery residency and graduated medical school, Hunter got a new job, and we moved to Minneapolis! We can't wait to celebrate our love story with all of our family and friends!
