FAQs

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Typical weather in Mayakoba in March is 77 degrees and sunny with low humidity.

Question

IS IT SAFE?

Answer

Short answer, YES! Mayakoba is a gated hotel community. There is high security before you can enter in Mayakoba and then another gate to enter the Banyan Tree resort. It is secluded and extremely safe, which is why we chose it! Additionally, the beach is 100% private so there are no outsiders allowed.

Question

CAN I BRING MY KIDS?

Answer

All hosted events are adults only. That being said, while our wedding events are adults-only, Banyan Tree and neighboring Mayakoba properties (Andaz, Fairmont, Rosewood) are all kid friendly and offer kids clubs and babysitting services.

Question

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE FOR THE WEDDING?

Answer

The dress code is Beach Formal. For men, this means suits (wool or linen), tie not required. For women, please wear mid or floor length dresses. Vibrant colors and tropical patterns encouraged!

Question

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE FOR THE WELCOME PARTY?

Answer

The Welcome Party is resort chic cocktail. Think festive sundresses and resortwear for women and chinos or khakis with button downs for men.

Question

AM I INVITED TO THE WELCOME PARTY?

Answer

Yes, everyone is invited!

Question

WHAT'S THE BEST WAY TO CONTACT YOU IF I HAVE ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS?

Answer

Please do not hesitate to reach out to either Jillian or Brian by phone or email.
