Sergio and Lindsey first crossed paths at a gym in South Florida. Sergio heard through the grapevine that Lindsey loved checking out new breweries, so he showed up to class armed with a carefully curated list of his recent favorites. Not long after, a mutual friend invited them out for St. Patrick's day, where sparks flew over green beer (luck of the Irish perhaps?). Soon after, Sergio moved back to his home state of Virginia. A few months later, he invited Lindsey up for a weekend visit and promptly took her on what he called an “easy hike.” Lindsey quickly learned that Sergio’s definition of easy was… ambitious. They still laugh about it today, and he now admits it was at least intermediate. Their shared love of adventure and travel helped their relationship grow and after that first trip they were already planning the next whether it meant meeting up in Virginia, Florida, or somewhere new entirely. Less than a year later Lindsey made the move to Virginia (a big deal for this Florida girl - but you have to follow your heart, right?) In August 2025, Lindsey and Sergio conquered an iconic 20 mile round trip hike - Yosemite's Half Dome where Sergio asked Lindsey to be his wife. They can't wait to spend a lifetime chasing adventures together.
