Robin is the sister of the bride, the keeper of information, impromptu DJ and manager of mischief. Robin and Erica have become thick as thieves the last few years and enjoy their sister time very much. Robin is always there with an open ear and comfy couch when you need a break from life. She warmly opened her beautiful home to Erica for a semester during school and did all the great things a big sis can; love and support her.
Jacqueline Marenco
Bridesmaid
Jackie is Sergio's sister and one amazing woman. She has been a sounding board, source of wisdom, love, and fashion advice. Jackie and her husband Sergio (lots of Sergios will be at this wedding) opened her family, her home and her heart to Erica early on. Jackie has always made Erica feel like family, and never said a word when Erica would nudge Mia to watch Moana just one more time ( Erica really likes having an excuse to watch cartoons).
Omar Barajas
Groomsman
Omar is one of Sergio's favorite cousins and was the first visitor to come to NYC after Erica and Sergio moved. Omar is energetic, friendly, and has endless stories of Sergio's childhood to regale an interested listener.
Sergio Marenco
Groomsman
Sergio is not only the husband to Jackie, but an amazing stand-in brother for Sergio. He has a wonderful blend of family values and being career driven, and is a great mentor for Sergio as he has grown over the years. Mr. Marenco, along with his wife Jackie, warmly opened his home to Sergio and Erica on numerous occasions as they navigated the transition between life in Seattle and life in Grenada. Always ready with a fresh pot of coffee and advice, he is treasured.
Naomi Bornemann
Bridesmaid
Naomi has known Sergio since he was about 9, and is an essential part of his extended family. Naomi was quick to welcome Erica to the group, making her heart happy and full. Naomi is always quick on her feet, generous with her time and can help you construct a mini-golf course at a moments notice.
David Poulin
Groomsman
David entered Sergio's life at a challenging time and provided friendship and mentorship for Sergio. David has a heart the size of Texas and is always willing to make time for someone who need it and has an adorable soft spot for Susana and Jackie. He always has a big bear hug and a joke ready, but his specialty is bro-time when Sergio has been away too long.
Sherilyn Jacobson
Mother of the Bride
Sherilyn continues to inspire Erica to do her best, and to not forget to enjoy the little things along the way. Erica's love of baking was inspired by Sherilyn and the creative cakes she would make on her birthday. Sherilyn also taught Erica how to dance and on Sundays would put on some Beach Boys and swing dance in the living room.
Susana Camba
Mother of the Groom
Susana has dedicated so much of her life and energy into her family, and the amazing kids she raised are proof of her success. Sergio shines with the light of his mother behind him. From an early age she encouraged him to do his best, think of others, and learn to cook. She advised that any good woman will treasure a man who can hold his own, and she was right! Moms usually are.
Neil Jacobson
Father of the Bride
Neil has long been a source of strength and inspiration for Erica. When she was young, he fostered her love of gardening and making things. When Erica was staying with Neil and Sherilyn for a year during her Masters Program, Neil welcomed her home with Red Vines, movie nights and sneaking out to the shop to have a cold beer. He always makes sure the hot tub is ready and that there is always a place for her.
