Which airport am I am flying into?

Answer

Douala International Airport (DLA) which is approximately 19-25 hour travel time from the US. We have built into the budget flight cost $1100-$1500.

When should I arrive in Douala?

Answer

We strongly recommend that you arrive on or before Friday March 22. We will be arriving before (March17) and can accommodate you if needed. Please reach out to us with your travel plans.

What is the ‘RoapTrip’ on the Itinerary?

Answer

We will depart Douala on March 25 at 5 AM local time on a personal charted bus for all guests. We will travel north to Villa Boutanga. The journey will be approximately 6 hours with stops for food, site seeing and breaks. We will provide light snacks and drinks for the road trip already on the bus.

What vaccines/medications are needed for this trip?

Answer

Proof of Yellow Fever vaccine is required to get a visa into the country. Additionally, you will need to bring Anti Malaria Pills and Anti-Nauseous at pills (Zofran). If you have had problems with elevation we also recommend oxygen pills. Douala -Sea Level Villa Boutanga-4500 feet

What documents do need to travel to Cameroon?

Answer

Valid Passport (at least 6 months from your return date) Visa-Done by mail to Cameroon Embassy in Washington DC. Once you have your airline tickets purchase we will provide you with a formal invitation to the country to obtain your visa.
