Seren and I met in freshman year at RIT in 2009 when we both lived on the Photo House floor. Every blonde needs a brunette best friend and I found mine that year! From walking side-by-side at the Tiger Walk, rushing together and sewing letters on weekends in our apartment, being my maid of honor, and now our couple’s trips in the summer exploring new places, Seren has been by my side for so many major life events. I can always count on her, trust her with all my heart, and guaranteed to laugh until I cry every time we’re together or catching up. I’m beyond excited to stand by her side as her and Stephen begin the next chapter of their fantastic love story! Love you both!
John Gutmann
Best Man
Stephen and John met at RIT and are both members of Phi Kappa Psi. John, aka Gutmann, sold Stephen his first car -- the alpine white e36 BMW....which single-handedly started Stephen's passion for BMWs. Gutmann and Stephen have shared many memories together including the time they did a cross-country road trip when Gutmann relocated from D.C. to San Francisco.

I was lucky enough to have met Seren at RIT through Alpha Xi Delta, where I became her “big sister” in the fall of 2010. We’ve shared many amazing memories over the years as big and little including parties, sleepovers, trips to Jay’s Diner at midnight for stuffed French toast -- but most importantly, the winning game of beer pong at the Province Pool where Seren and Stephen met! I’m so happy to see the love that has grown between them over the years and am honored to stand by my little as she becomes Mrs. Hoefer!
Matt Putnam

Stephen and Matt also met at RIT and are members of Phi Kappa Psi. Seren, Stephen, and Putnam have many memories together when living in Rochester after college - including golf days, playing century pong, beer ball, random board game nights and typically ending the nights with Stephen walking home.
Ashleigh Chamberlain

Serenity and I met at work in 2016 and we clicked right away. Not long into our friendship, Serenity, Stephen, my husband, and I attended a co-worker’s wedding at a summer camp where the four of us had to share a cabin with no heat or electricity for the weekend. I’d say this is when all of our friendships really blossomed! Some of my favorite memories with Seren include beach days, concert nights (most notably, Post Malone!), work events and post-work happy hours, and all the random times Seren and Stephen had no problem just hanging out with me and my kids! Serenity has quickly become one of my closest friends and one I know I can always count on.
Nick Sawicky

Nick is Stephen's big brother in his fraternity, Phi Kappa Psi. Stephen and Seren were always hanging out at pools with the Sawicky's and always having a good meal together. Nick and Seren's big sister, Rianna, are married! Rianna and Nick, aka Sawicky take full credit in getting Seren and Stephen together.
Kayleigh Andersen

Kayleigh and I met in undergrad and quickly became great friends! We would take weekend trips to hang out and attend concerts together when I lived in Rochester - Kayleigh lived in Syracuse at the time and just moved back in 2019 with her husband, Tim, and two daughters after a few years in California. Kayleigh has been a constant in Stephen and I's relationship and we are thrilled to have Kayleigh be part of our special day!
Noah Hardekopf
Groomsman
Noah and Stephen met while working at BMW of Stratham. The two hit it off as friends with their interest in cars. Noah and Stephen can usually be spotted at a car show on the weekends, or at Bentley's or Kozy's for a beer. Also, the night before Stephen and Seren left for their anniversary trip (the trip Stephen proposed on), Noah helped Stephen put the winter tires on the X3 -- thanks Noah for ensuring we got to our destination!
Nicole Hoefer

Nicole is the “older (and wiser) sister” of the Groom! She is a physical therapist who went to college at Clarkson University in Potsdam. Small world! When Stephen and I first started dating there were many trips to Potsdam involving Nicole and Justin. Some of Nicole’s favorite memories with Steve include playing the N64 and waiting impatiently for new Dragon Ball Z episodes to air as kids.
Jason Davis

Jason is Seren's older brother. Jason is the Vice President for Powersports at Camso and shares similar interests with Stephen when it comes to snowmobiles, cars, powersports, Jason's new interest in Call of Duty... And can't forget to mention their like for Labatt Blue -- Jason typically supplies Stephen with 30 racks since it is very hard to find Labatt Blue in New Hampshire!
Olivia & Marissa Davis
Junior Bridesmaids
Olivia and Marissa are my nieces and our Junior Bridesmaids! They had the BEST reactions when we told them Stephen and I were engaged. Also, Marissa was very upset that Uncle Stephen didn't discuss the engagement proposal with her first! We love spending time with Olivia and Marissa and look forward to having them be part of the wedding celebration!
