Taylor and I went to the same high school and dated for a loving two months in 2010. We spent a lot of time going to movies and on double dates. Our first kiss was at Lake Farley in Milbank, SD. This is the same spot he gave me my promise ring in 2019. In 2017, we reconnected in Brookings, SD to catch up before I transferred colleges. That night we just knew there was more. We wanted to keep hanging out. Soon after, we said “I love you” and within a few months I knew he was my soulmate. Our second first kiss was while we were visiting the Christmas lights hung at Falls Park in Sioux Falls, SD. Since then, our tradition has been to go back to this spot each year. On Valentines Day 2021, Taylor took me to the exact spot we shared our second first kiss. He asked me if I knew how much he loved me and how he saw us spending the rest of our lives together. After saying yes, I tried to go in for a hug, but he got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. Through all of the tears, I accepted. We have two fur babies, Chrysler and Viper. In the fall of 2020, we moved into our brand new dream house. Taylor is truly my dream man and I cannot wait to spend the rest of our lives together. — Serena
