Can I bring someone as a plus-one?

Answer

Due to budget constraints and wanting an intimate celebration, we hope you understand that no guests have been allowed a plus one. All invited guests in each household are listed on the invitation. Rest assured, you will be seated with people you know and have a wonderful time!

What should I wear?

Answer

We’d love for you to join us in “festive formal” attire. Basically, have fun and play with your look! It’s similar to cocktail attire in terms of dressiness, but showing off your personal style and wearing something that makes you feel beautiful, handsome, and powerful. Opt for bolder colors and playful accessories, sport a suit jazzed up with a bright tie or creative pocket square, or rock a fancy jumpsuit with a fun pattern. Remember we’ll be outside on a hot summer day, so dress for comfort as well as style. Flats, chunky heels, or wedges are recommended to avoid skinny heels getting stuck in the grass. Where do I park?

Answer

Our property includes a ten-car parking lot. There is also a restaurant next door that has some additional parking. We would recommend carpooling if at all possible, though additional parking is available along Rt 30 in the gravel along the front of our home, as well as parking in downtown Shabbona.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

If you would like to bring them, we welcome your younger children to this family affair! We will have our second bedroom set aside as a sensory room should you and your little one need space to take a break from the excitement.
