Staten Island Ferry - Free trip to NYC
The Staten Island Ferry is a free ferry ride into NYC. It also passes the Statue of Liberty! :) Recommend buying a Metro Card > taking the Staten Island train to its final stop aka the St. George ferry terminal (you only need the card to get off at St. George) > Hop onto the ferry > boom you’re in NYC!
Staten Island Mall
I'll admit...it's not the MOST thrilling but there is a dine in movie theater, restaurants, Dave & Busters, etc.
Royal Crown Bakery
It's small but a staple for the island. One stop shop for iconic Italian pastries, amazing Italian bread, phenomenal sandwiches, bagels, and even pizza. Also, highly recommend there ice tea with a lemon ice in it!
Staten Island Zoo
Good for a fun little trip. Go look at the animals.
Sofia's Taqueria (Amboy Rd)
Solid tacos and even better margeritas! Closer to the south shore of the island.
Marina Cafe Restaurant & Tiki Bar
Restaurant and bar right on the water in the marina. Live music and DJ's Friday Night. Perfect for a summer night.
Franklin D. Roosevelt Boardwalk and Beach
The Staten Island boardwalk goes along the beachy SI coast! Nice for a summer day. Plus a clear view of the Verrazano Bridge...as a Staten Islander uhh - just, dont go in the water. (Don't ask).
