Taxi service outside of Florence is unreliable. Please utilize the shuttle services available to you through your B&B directly. If you would rather we arrange it for you, please let us know at least six weeks before the wedding.
We will provide a shuttle and a shuttle schedule upon your arrival. The shuttle is scheduled for both The Welcome Party and the Wedding.
Shuttle service There is no reliable taxi service to and from the venue. We have arranged for shuttle service to transport you to the venue on Wednesday and off the property on Friday. Please let us know, by July 1st, if you are going to rent a car or if we can arrange transportation for you. If you need a pick up, these are the pick up points: 1. Florence airport (if you are landing on the check-in day) 2. Santa Maria Novella Square (if you are in the city of Florence) This location is 3 minutes walk from the SMN station, near the main entrance of the SMN church and the obelisk, near the Minerva hotel, the pick up point is: https://maps.app.goo.gl/wKUYJapCWfcsnNBY6?g_st=com.google.maps.preview.copy Pick up time on the check-in day: approximately 3pm Pick up time on the check-out day: any time between 4am and 12pm. You must specify your pick up time. Consider that the BRUNCH is from 10am to 12pm and that the check-out is 10am (luggage must be out of the villas).
Let us know which day you are arriving in Florence. Will you already be in Florence Wednesday and plan to be at the pick up point at your designated time? Are you flying into Florence on Wednesday? If so, we will need your flight details to get you to the venue, unless you plan to spend the day in Florence first. Please have all items and lunch choices to Josh and Serena by June 24th. Meals will include breakfast and lunch on Thursday, and brunch on Friday. Feel free to bring snacks. you may bring beverages, including alcohol, but no wine. Only wine from the vineyard may be consumed on the property. Think of this like an Airbnb, not a hotel. Let us know if you need a ride to Florence City on Friday after the brunch, or if you need a ride to the airport. If you have a flight out Friday, let us know what time it leaves so we can arrange shuttle service.
