Our sister in law, Casey, became a part of our family in 2021. Serena has grown close to Casey over the years. She quickly became not only our sister in law but our confidant, best friend and therapist. It was a no brainer when our decision for maid of honor came.

Best Man

Dakota is Houston’s older brother. Growing up they had the usual brother relationship with Dakota picking on Houston, and Houston wanting to follow Dakota everywhere. As they have gotten older Dakota has given Houston advice and guidance. When we had to make our decision for best man we knew he would be perfect for the job.

Elsie Majesky

Elsie is (technically) Serena's aunt. They are only a few months a part so growing up they became sisters more than anything. Although they have got into numerous arguments, they have also been there for each other's special moments. Serena had absolutely no doubt that Elsie was going to make an amazing bridesmaid.

Jon Tackett

Groomsman

Jon is Houston's youngest brother. They have always had the older brother and younger brother dynamic. Although Houston used to pick on Jon when they were younger, they have grown closer with age. Houston had no doubt that Jon was going to be his groomsman.

Brianna Deaton

Brianna is Houston's cousin by marriage. The couple met her together in 2022 where Serena began to grow close to Brianna. Throughout time Serena began know that Brianna was someone would who guide her and give her amazing advice. This has held true so Serena knew that Brianna would be her bridesmaid.

Donivan Deaton

Groomsman

Donivan is Houston's older cousin. Houston got back in touch with Donivan in 2022, and their relationship grew from there. They have given each other advice, motivated each other, and couldn't be more proud of each other. When it came time Houston had no doubt that Donivan would be an amazing groomsman.

Kristal Lopez

Bridesmaid

Kristal is Serena and Houston's friend. We met Kristal through Vince and began a friendship from there. Serena and Kristal grew close through their love of books, and Kristal has been someone who has given Serena important advice. We knew that Kristal was going to be the perfect level headed bridesmaid we needed.

Vince Lugo

Groomsman

Houston met Vince through work. Of course they are almost polar opposites with Vince being someone who loves sports and wrestling, and Houston not holding an interest for either. Vince is one of the first people to help Houston find his place at work and encouraged him to strive for the best. Houston knew Vince was going to be one of his groomsmen.

Valencia Contreras

Bridesmaid

Valencia is a client turned best friend. Her relationship with Serena started as a professional one with Valencia getting her nails done bi-weekly. Soon the two began to build a bond and found that they had a lot in common with each other. Valencia has shown Serena nothing but love and support, so when the day came Serena knew Valencia had to be there.

Jared Hunt

Groomsman

Jared is Houston's oldest friend. The two met in second grade and have stayed best friends ever since. They have dealt with bullies, been there for each other's ups and downs, and most of all have had each other's backs no matter the distance. They continue to stay in touch and have held a seventeen year friendship. Houston knew that Jared was going to be his groomsman from the get go.

Mother of the Bride

She needs no introduction, but this is Serena's mom. Obviously you cannot have a wedding without your mother, but this is especially true for Serena. Her mother has believed in her no matter how hard it got. Serena's favorite way to describe her mother is her love is as close to God's love that she will get on Earth.

Roland Lugo

Father of the Bride

This is Serena's dad. A dad that did not give her life, but life gave them each other. They have gone through ups and downs, but they have always been there for one another. Serena would describe their relationship as two lost souls helping each other get on a better path for life. She is incredibly proud of him, and he is incredibly proud of her.
