The cut off time of when we'll no longer accept RSVPs for our destination wedding is January 1st, 2024. You can RSVP by clicking the tab that says "RSVP" next to "FAQs". Please RSVP as soon as possible. Effectively collaborating with our wedding coordinator requires an accurate guest count for our wedding, from food to seating. Please Note: Dan and I chose the largest wedding package the resort has to offer, and it includes a maximum of 28 guests. There is a $150 fee per each additional guest. To pay this fee, you can go to the above tab that says "Registry", then click the first item labeled "Destination Wedding Guest Fee". Note: Those in the couple's Wedding Party (and their plus ones) are included in the automatic guest count and do not have to pay the additional guest fee.
The ceremony begins at 5PM on Monday, June 3rd, 2024. We highly recommend you arrive at the resort at least 24 hours before the wedding. This gives you enough time to get settled, rest after your flight, and unpack what you'll need to attend the wedding, (and walk the route to where the ceremony will take place beforehand!) Guests are free to and highly encouraged to use our destination wedding as an opportunity to go on a much-needed vacation at a 5-star and adults-only all-inclusive resort!
Check-in is at 3:00 p.m. Check-out is at 12:00 p.m. If you arrive before check-in time, you can use the facilities.

No. Valentin Imperial is an adults-only resort, and anyone under the age of 18 will not be permitted to enter the resort premises. Underaged guests are not allowed on the property under any circumstances. If you alternatively decide to stay at a different hotel to attend our wedding, any person(s) under the age of 18 will not be permitted to enter the premises where the venue and wedding will take place. Per Valentin Imperial's policy, all guests attending any of the events must be at least 18 years of age.
We request that when you RSVP, you state you're bringing a +1 under "Leave a note for the couple", so Dan and I can have an accurate guest count.
Yes. The dress code for the wedding is Formal Only Attire. Linen pants, button downs, maxi dresses, and formal sandals all qualify; so do tuxes, suits, gowns, and jumpsuits. Wear formal attire you'd also feel comfortable wearing in 85 degree weather; the wedding will take place outdoors.
Yes, please do! The sooner the better; please note your food allergy when you RSVP.
Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya is really all-inclusive; it is also a 5-star luxury resort. It's unlimited dining options at seven different restaurants, eleven different bars, 24-hour room service, gym, and food carts are all included. Their main pool has two bars and is recognized as one of the 10 most impressive pools in Riviera Maya. They also offer daily activities, nightly entertainment, favored beach spots, Wi-Fi, and more. You can choose to bring cash (USD preferred) with you to tip your driver, servers, roomkeepers, attendants, etc. during the duration of your stay, but it is not required.
