Bryan and I met on a White Water Rafting trip after our first week of college. We talked on the bus ride and sat next to each other on the raft ride down the Ocoee River. Afterward, we watched Bryan's favorite movie, Goodfellas, and the rest is history.
After we met, we worked hard in our respective classes and had many study dates in the library. We both joined Greek life organizations and made many lifelong friends. After two years together, Bryan decided to take a year off to work in west Tennessee. He then gave me his fraternity letters as a sign of devotion and love for our relationship. Although long distant, we knew if we could live five hours apart, we could get through most anything. In the spring of 2019, I graduated with my bachelor's degree, and Bryan returned to finish his engineering degree. In the spring of 2020, Bryan bought a corgi puppy that we named Rocket, and he stole our hearts immediately.
After Bryan graduated in the fall of 2020 and I graduated in the spring of 2021, we decided to buy a house together in Gallatin, TN. We love being homeowners and frequently go on long walks around our neighborhood with Rocket.
On October 1st, 2022, Bryan proposed to me in front of Pattie's Settlement Waterwheel. I have been going to Pattie's settlement since I was a little girl, and Bryan and I have gone there once a year since they first met in 2016. We hold many precious memories there, and it was the perfect place for him to propose to me.
