Brendan and Serafina met when their friends Ashley, Lily, and Amy threw a Valentine's Day party senior year at Boston College. They had been floating in the same group of friends for a few months but had never met until Ashley (literally) pushed them together. They spent the whole night talking and have been together ever since.

On the seven year anniversary of meeting at the Valentine’s Day party, Brendan proposed at home in the living room of the apartment he and Serafina share. He got down on one knee and asked her to make it official by marrying him. It was so sweet and simple.
