CDMX

The Wedding Website of Sera Michael and Jaren Anderson
CDMX combines so many of our favorite things: amazing food, beautiful architecture, mezcal aplenty, plants everywhere you look and the best hospitality. Here are a few places that top our list.
Contramar

Contramar

200 Calle de Durango, Ciudad de México, CDMX 06700, Mexico
, +52 55 5514 9217

¡Todos los tostadas de atún! A must-visit lunch spot in Roma Norte. One of our all-time favorite restaurants, Contramar is sister restaurants with San Francisco's Cala. Reservations recommended.

Lardo

Lardo

6 Agustín Melgar, Ciudad de México, CDMX 06140, Mexico
, +52 55 5211 7731

Another must-do in CDMX. This charming, plant-filled La Condesa restaurant is beautifully designed and has some of the best food we've ever had. We love sitting at the bar or a table by the open windows on a nice day.

Taqueria El Greco

Taqueria El Greco

54 Avenida Michoacán, Ciudad de México, CDMX 06100, Mexico
, +52 55 3934 0040

Tacos, por favor. Arguably the best around! Located in La Condesa.

eNHORAbUENa CAFÉ

eNHORAbUENa CAFÉ

13 Calle Atlixco, Ciudad de México, CDMX 06140, Mexico
, +52 55 9155 6654

Charming indoor-outdoor cafe for breakfast and coffee in La Condesa. ¿Puedo tener cappucino y chilaquiles?

Blend Station

Blend Station

Avenida Tamaulipas 60, Ciudad de México, CDMX 13210, Mexico
, +52 55 5086 6590

Hipster coffee with jungle vibes and acai bowls. One of our first CDMX discoveries and favorite morning go-tos. Locations in both in La Condesa and Roma Norte.

Parque México

Parque México

Colonia Condesa, Ciudad de México, CDMX 06140, Mexico

Lush, beautiful park in the center of La Condesa, perfect for a leisurely walk. Art deco architecture, lots of unique plants and so many dogs.

Churrería El Moro Parque México

Churrería El Moro Parque México

27 Avenida Michoacán, Ciudad de México, CDMX 06170, Mexico

Churrería El Moro is legendary in CDMX for amazing churros, and the space also happens to be designed to perfection. There are locations all over the city, but we like the one in La Condesa because it's in a great area, right across from Parque México.

Ojo de Agua

Ojo de Agua

Condesa Hipodrome 23C, Ciudad de México, CDMX 06100, Mexico

Acai bowls, smoothies and more, also near Parque México. Perfect spot for breakfast or a pitstop during a stroll through the park. Warning: you'll be tempted to eat the greens, but remember the rule to avoid washed veggies while in Mexico!

Lucha Libre

Lucha Libre

Dr. Lavista 189, Doctores, Cuauhtémoc, Ciudad de México, CDMX 06720, Mexico

Mexican wrestling at its finest! A Jaren-recommended activity. You can catch a Lucha Libre at Arena Mexico in Colonia Doctores, the largest of the Lucha arenas, every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday night. Arena Coliseo is an older arena located in Colonia Cuauhtemoc with Luchas usually on Saturdays.

Frida Kahlo Museum (aka Casa Azul)

Frida Kahlo Museum (aka Casa Azul)

247 Londres, Ciudad de México, CDMX 04100, Mexico
, +52 55 5554 5999

If you're a Frida & Diego fan, this is a must-see, but buy tickets in advance otherwise you'll wait in line for a few hours! Located in the Coyoacán neighborhood, about 15-20 minutes from La Condesa and Roma Norte.

Avenida Colima

Avenida Colima

Avenida Colima, Ciudad de México, CDMX 06700, Mexico

Take a stroll down Avenida Colima and stop at the many local boutiques, cafes, restaurants and bars. It's hard to choose just one destination here, the entire tree-lined street in Roma Norte is a stunner. Our wedding will also take place on this strip.
