Sequoia and Aaron's story began back in 2012. Before their first date, they met while studying at Virginia Commonwealth University through a mutual friend. Sequoia and Aaron had a few unforgettable first dates. On the first date – they saw fireworks! No really – they saw fireworks, literally and figuratively. But, it was the second date that really sealed the deal. Sequoia suggested going to a small Mexican restaurant in her hometown, where their infatuation for each other grew over margaritas! Since then, Sequoia and Aaron created five years worth of wonderful memories across Atlanta, Richmond, Hampton Roads, and Washington D.C. On July 4, 2017, Aaron planned a surprise proposal in front of Sequoia's entire family, and she said YES! Now, after two years of engagement, moving to a new state, starting medical school, and creating a new life together. Sequoia and Aaron are excited to tie the knot and live happily ever after!
