Oceanfront Guestrooms: The Oceanfront Guestrooms, designed by Ralph Lauren, are located in the main Pineapple House and overlook Round Hill Bay. They are just steps away from the main hotel infinity pool, beach, and lobby. Private Villa/ Villa Suites: Each individual Private Villa is located on the hillside with breathtaking views of Round Hill Bay. The Private Villas range from two- to six-bedrooms and include a selection of additional amenities, such as private pools, outdoor living spaces, and a personal staff. Each Villa Suite features an enclosed bedroom, en-suite bathroom, and open-air living room or veranda, and a shared pool. Noteworthy Villas: #10 - JFK and Jackie O honeymoon'd here. #11 - The setting for the movie, "How Stella Got Her Groove Back", starring Angela Bassett, Taye Diggs, and Whoopie Goldberg. #25 - Originally owned by Adele Astaire and is where JFK edited and rehearsed his Inaugural Address

DINING/MEAL PLANS

To assure your vacation at Round Hill is as seamless as possible, guests have the ability to choose from a number of meal plan options if desired. Meal plans can be applied when booking via telephone reservations, through your travel professional, or upon arrival at Round Hill. Resort Meal Plan Pricing: Breakfast & Dinner (half-board) - US$100 per person, per day Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner (full-board) - US$130 per person, per day Round Hill Plan (breakfast, lunch, dinner, beverages by the glass) - US$175 per person, per day Child Pricing: • Children age 4-12 receive a 50% discount on meal plans Please note that alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are only included with the Round Hill Plan. Prices are subject to 10% tax and 15% service charge.

IS THERE WIFI AVAILABLE AT THE RESORT?

Yes, the resort offers complimentary wifi. You will be given instructions at check in.

WHAT ARE THE ELECTRICITY REQUIREMENTS?

The electricity requirements are the same as the USA. No adapters are required.

WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE IN AUGUST?

Answer

As a tropical island, temperatures will range from 80 to 95 degrees F. Expect lots of sunshine, occasional rain showers and high humidity.

WHAT SHOULD I PACK?

Answer

In addition to the typical packing list, please remember to bring sunscreen, bug spray (in lieu of perfume), and, most importantly, your passport. We also suggest bringing sneakers. The resort has a beautiful jogging/walking path, as well as a state of the art fitness facility. Additionally, the terrain at the resort is uneven and can be difficult in some places. Please be cognizant of this when selecting your footwear for the different events. *Thando's additions ... I highly recommend packing your own shampoo/conditioner - you'll thank me later :) And bring cash for gratuities - this is left to guests' personal discretion, but highly encouraged.

IF I'M STAYING IN A VILLA/VILLA SUITE, IS IT EASY TO GET TO THE MAIN PART OF THE RESORT?

YES! All Villas are located within walking distance to the main part of the resort. Most guests prefer to walk, but if you require additional assistance in getting around the property, the Bellmen are there to help. Just call the front desk and they will send someone with a golf cart!

DO I NEED TO RENT A CAR?

Answer

NO. Renting a car is not necessary. Once at the Hotel, cabs are readily available to take you wherever you wish to go. All wedding events will take place at Round Hill. If you book an excursion through Round Hill, transportation is typically included in the cost. There are also complimentary shuttles to Tryall golf course if you wish to play a round of golf. Additional information will be provided upon check-in.

WHAT ABOUT THE KIDS?

Answer

Round Hill has a great setup for children, including the Pineapple Kids' Club for ages 3-12, open every day from 9am until 5pm and offering nature walks, arts and crafts, water sports, talent shows, reggae lessons and movie/story hour. There are games for older teenagers. Round Hill can arrange for childcare for all children during the wedding ceremony and reception. Let the hotel know if you'll need this service prior to your arrival.
