She’s from the lush, tea-filled landscapes of Assam, while I’m from the vibrant, bustling streets of Kolkata. Our story began with a missed connection—quite literally. I came across her profile online, sent a message, and then waited. Days passed. Seasons changed. I considered sending a carrier pigeon. Just as I was about to give up and consider a life of solitude with a dog, she finally responded! From casual chats to deep conversations, we quickly realized we had something special. And just like that, an instant connection was formed. As they say, good things take time (and sometimes require a little patience). Our love for travel (among many other things!) brought us even closer. It was during a trip to Acadia that we knew this was more than just another fun getaway. Somewhere between long hikes, breathtaking views, and debates over who was worse at reading maps, we realized this was the beginning of something real. Fast forward to today—from California to Pennsylvania, from ghosted (almost!) to golden, we’re thrilled to start this next chapter together, surrounded by the love and blessings of our family and friends.
