Her story It was before school started in the fall of 2018. I saw him for the first time during my first Sunday here in Hawaii when he gave a talk in my ward. I thought he was really cute but his spirituality attracted me the most. A week later we had a school dance at the Polynesian Cultural Center. When the dance finished and everyone was walking back, I saw him walking alone. I ran up and said hi haha. I introduced myself and got to know him a bit. We then added each other on Facebook after a few minutes, and that was it. We didn't talk for a whole 6 months after that! But, he was the only guy I was interested in. So one night, 6 months later, I had a feeling I should just ask him out on a date. I had never done that to anyone before! I was so nervous haha. I randomly messaged him, asked him if he would like to hang out that weekend, and eventually he said yes. He later told me that he had been praying all that week that he would find his wife or his wife would find him. We have been going on dates ever since! I'm so blessed to be with the person that turned out to be my very best friend. His story I remember the first time I unofficially met Thalia was after a dance at the PCC. Nothing happened but months later one of her friends, Sia, approached me (being on a mission from Thalia) to ask if I was single and if I was interested on going on dates. I was amused hahaha. To be honest, I wasn't ready but I was open to anything and plus Sia wouldn't even tell me who it was. So, I stayed prayerful. Later that day Thalia messaged. I was surprised and hesitant because I thought it wouldn't work out haha. But little did I know how wrong I was. We attended the temple on our first date performing sealing ordinances. That was the neatest experience I've ever had with her. I've grown and learnt so much since then of how beautiful and kind she is. Her silliness matched her high intellect. Most of all, I love her devotion and love for Heavenly Father. Thank you Thalia.
