Vu and I met through our best friends, Dien and Hong, during a gathering at Hong's sister’s apartment during my first year of college. Our first introduction was anything but traditional. We were standing out on the balcony right after I had finished a drink, and before I could even say hello, I had to quickly turn around to hide a sudden burp. Vu just smiled, completely realizing what had happened. He spent the rest of the night serenading me "Baby Please Don't Go," by Mike Posner and the rest was history. After a few months of getting to know each other, we were official. In 2017, we moved to KC, and it quickly became the place we call home. After 10 strong years of being together, Vu finally popped the question on our anniversary, and I said yes! Since our engagement, we've reached another major milestone and built our very first home together. We can't wait to start this next chapter of our lives as husband and wife.
