Devil's Postpile National Monument
Have you heard of Devils Postpile?! Take a day trip out to see this geological wonder and stop by rainbow falls on your way! You have to take a bus to get to the trailhead but after that you can hike all around the valley or you can hike up to the top of the Devil’s postpile to get an entirely different view!
Wild Willy's Natural Hot Spring
Wild Willy's is a natural hot spring just outside of Mammoth that we love to go to. There is a parking lot for easy access, just use the google link below for directions to Willi's Hot Spring Parking. Once you park, the springs are just a short walk down the trailhead. Make sure to bring towels, swimsuits and sunscreen!
Mono Basin Visitor Center
Mono Lake is one of our favorite look-outs in all the Eastern Sierra! The Mono Basin Visitor Center is just 30 minutes north from Mammoth and we highly suggest making a pit stop if you head that way! They also have an interactive nature center that's great for the kiddos! PS. If you do stop here, make sure to also stop at Mono Cone for the best soft serve and milkshakes you can imagine
Yosemite National Park
The East Entrance to Yosemite National Park is just 40 minutes north of Mammoth! If you have extra time we highly suggest making the trip... even if you just want to see the Tuolumne Meadows side, it's beautiful!
Mammoth Tavern
This is a great gastronomy pub with a super laid back vibe and woodsy interior! They have amazing cocktails and all the comfort food you could hope for!
Mammoth Brewing Company
Taste some of Mammoth's local flavor at our favorite brewery! in town They've got anything from sours to stouts and you honestly con't go wrong... plus their food is SOO good!
Yosemite Axe Throwing
Ever thrown an axe?! We hadn’t until stumbling upon this spot in Mammoth… and we love it now! If you’re a pro, they’ll let you do your thing and if you’re a beginner they’ll show ya how it’s done!
Mammoth Rock 'N' Bowl
We love Mammoth Rock n' Bowl and this is actually where our Welcome Party will be located! There's bowling, darts, bocce ball, corn hole, a bar... you name it, they got it.
The Warming Hut
This is our favorite breakfast spot in town! The have just about everything you can think of along with REALLY good coffee!
