DAMIAN'S VERSION (AKA "THE TRUTH"): Sem started working at The Waterfront Beach Resort in May 2021, and I met her when she was going around during her orientation day. I've never seen a name like her's but I remember she had a pretty smile, and she seemed nice, and it was obvious that she had a crush on me. We started talking at work almost daily; I would try to find any excuse to call the catering department, or would stop by her cubicle (most of our talking happened by her cubicle, until HR told me I had to stop), and occasionally hang out outside of work whenever doing group outings. One day Sem was feeling a bit "meh," so to cheer her up, I asked if she would like to go watch the Balboa Boat Parade with me. She was all about it... AND for the record, it was clear it was a date. We went to watch the parade from the harbor at the Balboa Bay Resort, where it was cold and miserable, but we had the most amazing time that I barely remember even seeing a single boat. The next day, Sem saw me at work and asked me out on a second date to Johnny's Saloon. She just couldn't get enough! 4 years later, here we are...
