The currency in Nigeria is called naira (NGN). I would advice exchanging at a local currency exchange bureau before leaving if possible for ease of travel but alternatively you can exchange at locations within Lagos once there.
Most hotels and airbnbs have WiFi available for guests. But not all locations will have WiFi connectivity, if possible look into short term roaming or an international plan with your cell phone provider if you would like to stay connected at all times.
