Things To Do
Glacier National Park
If you find yourself visiting Glacier while you are here, we highly recommend driving the Going-to-the-Sun road. The views are unbelievable and it’s one of Montana’s most iconic experiences. FYI: The park is about a 3 hour drive from the wedding venue, so it’s best to enjoy as a full-day adventure.
Lake Como
A beautiful lake just outside of Hamilton. Perfect for swimming, fishing, hiking, or enjoying a picnic with the amazing view.
Breweries
Montanans take their beer seriously and there is no shortage of breweries. And boy you’re in luck if you like IPAs. Grab a pint, sit back, and enjoy the slower pace of life.
Blodgett Canyon
A stunning canyon just outside of Hamilton. Hike to the overlook or explore the canyon. Bring a picnic and take in the scenery. Don’t forget your camera!
Missoula
Explore downtown Missoula and its local shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and breweries. Check out Caras Park and visit the carousel, Dragon’s Hollow playground, and watch surfers at Brennan’s wave. Catch a concert, sporting event, or the farmer’s market. Hike the iconic “M” trail that overlooks the city.
Float the River!
Pick up some tubes and float the river! I recommend putting in at Sha-Ron in East Missoula and taking out at Caras Park (about 2-2.5 hours).
Garnet Ghost Town
Take the beautiful drive to Garnet Ghost Town, nestled in the mountains just east of Missoula.

Stroll through the heart of the Bitterroot Valley and enjoy the local shops, restaurants, breweries, coffee houses, and galleries.
