For long-distance travelers:
Lexington has a small airport that would be closest to fly in and out of (Blue Grass Airport, LEX) and is about 10 minutes from downtown Lexington.
Other larger airports include the Louisville Airport (SDF) and the Cincinnati Airport (CVG). Both are about an hour and fifteen to an hour and a half away. Rental cars are easily acquired and available at these airports to drive into Lexington.
