Question

When should guests arrive and will there be traffic?

Answer

Guest arrival begins at 4:30pm. Please note there is a home University of Michigan game on the same day as the wedding. Depending on where you are traveling from you may encounter traffic delays. Please plan accordingly as there is a firm start time of 5pm and we wouldn't want you to miss a second of it!

How do we get to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony location will be outside, behind the building. When you park in the parking lot, go towards the right of the building (when facing building from parking lot). NOTE - there is a slope to get to the ceremony location. If you have trouble navigating declines/inclines, there will be a golf cart service that will take you from the parking lot to the ceremony location. The same golf cart service will take you from ceremony back to the cocktail hour/reception area.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

can i bring a date?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, it will appear as "and guest" on your invitation. Thank you for understanding.

Where is Cocktail Hour?

Answer

Cocktail hour will be in the same location as the reception. When ceremony ends, follow the same path you took to the ceremony. The entrance into the building where the reception will be held will have a welcome sign.

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes! Beer, wine, specialty cocktails, and non alcoholic beverages are on us!

can i mail a wedding gift in lieu of bringing them to the shower?

Answer

Of course! If you purchase an item off our registry, there will be an option to mail directly to our home. Please make sure you include a note with your name so we can properly thank you! We also have a honeymoon fund set up if you prefer to make a donation to that in lieu of purchasing a gift from the registry.
