How do I RSVP?

What is the dress code?
Answer
Show us your best summer formal attire! Think Sunday best - dress shirts and ties, colorful dresses (long or short), dress pants, and your most comfortable shoes for dancing! Please avoid wearing jeans and white dresses!

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00 pm. Please arrive to the church between 2:30-2:45 pm. The Sacrament of Marriage will be a full Mass.

How do I get to the wedding venue?
Answer
Our wedding ceremony will take place at SS Cyril and Methodius in Lemont. There are several parking lots outside the church for our guests. The cocktail hour and reception will be held at Two Brothers Roundhouse in Aurora. It is located about 35 minutes from the church and has plenty of parking. (Note: The tollway route is the fastest option. The non-tollway route adds about 15 minutes.)

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
It wouldn't be a Selfridge + Carlson party if there wasn't! The bar will serve Two Brothers beer, hard liquor, and wine. We love the Ebel's Weiss and the Wobble! If you are partaking in the open bar, we encourage you to stay near the venue.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
Answer
We encourage our guests to be fully present with us during our ceremony. We will have two wonderful photographers capturing every moment of the Mass, so please refrain from taking photos at the church. You are welcome and encouraged to take lots of photos during the cocktail hour and reception!

What type of food will be served?
Answer
We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by an Italian dinner with a selection of meats, pastas, and salads. There will be vegan, vegetarian, and dairy-free options available.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Our ceremony and reception will both be indoors. Our reception venue does feature a patio area for guests to enjoy, weather permitting!
