We're getting married

Once upon a swipe (or maybe a smile), we started dating—and then kept dating… and dating… and dating. Some might say we were on the “extended free trial” of relationships. But hey, we were having a blast! The first two years were all about love, laughter, late-night snacks, and figuring out whose turn it was to pick the movie. Then life decided to spice things up. I had to return to my home country, and just like that, we leveled up into a long-distance relationship. For 2.5 years, we lived in different time zones, different lifestyles, and a shared state of constantly checking Wi-Fi signals. Thanks to COVID (and we mean that sarcastically), it wasn’t easy. But we made it—FaceTimes, virtual movie nights, and all. Eventually, like any good rom-com, I found my way back to him (cue dramatic airport reunion music). We decided it was time to stop just surviving apart and start thriving together. So we moved in, moved on, and moved forward—side by side, through thick and thin and takeout dinners. We even snuck in a little civil ceremony—just the two of us and a few legal forms. But now, two years later, we’re ready to do the big thing, the joyful thing, the dancing-until-our-feet-hurt thing. Today, we’re choosing each other again—fully, officially, and in front of the people we love most: You. So come celebrate with us. There will be love. There will be laughter. There might even be cake before dinner. 🎉 And above all—there will be Us. 🥂
