FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We kindly ask all guests to wear all-black attire for the wedding. Think elegant and timeless — black dresses, suits, jumpsuits, or separates are all perfect. Please avoid other colors so the look stays cohesive and chic for our celebration.

Question

Can I bring a date / plus one?

Answer

We kindly ask that only guests who are formally listed on the invitation attend. If your invitation includes a guest’s name or says “and guest,” you’re welcome to bring them. Otherwise, we’d love to celebrate with just you, as we want to have everyone who we are closest to there on our special day.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Yes! We love our little ones and are happy to have them celebrate with us. We just kindly ask that they be kept as quiet and comfortable as possible during the ceremony so everyone can enjoy the moment.

Question

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is a gravel parking lot on site, and it will be accessible for all guests throughout the event.

Question

Can we take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests do not take photos during the ceremony. Please put phones away and on silent so everyone can be fully present with us in the moment. Our photographer will capture everything — we can’t wait to share the photos with you afterward!

Question

Is the event indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both! The ceremony will take place in a beautiful skeleton chapel with open-air surroundings, and the reception will be held indoors for dinner and dancing afterward.

Question

What’s the expected weather for that time of year?

Answer

We’re in Alabama, so honestly — there’s no telling! It could be sunny and warm or cool and breezy. We recommend checking the forecast closer to the date and dressing comfortably for whatever Alabama decides to give us that day!
